On the hunt for a thoughtful gift?
Look no further than Indulge Brighton, the gift and gourmet food store offering customers an eclectic range of unique and specialty products.
Selling everything from pashminas, jewellery and body products to artisan food and wine, Indulge Brighton has been operating in Church Street for 11 years.
Owner, Nancy Russo said her most popular products varied depending on the time of year, but coming into winter the Slumbies brand slippers were in high demand.
“Our cards are always really popular, also the Crooked Creek cheese biscuits and Herbie’s spice range,” she said.
Staying true to its name, Indulge Brighton gives shoppers the opportunity to spoil themselves with something a little bit special.
The store also has a range of customised gourmet gift hampers, which can be made up to suit any taste and budget using the finest produce.
A passionate foodie, Ms Russo said she was very particular about the edible products stocked in store and maintained an emphasis on natural ingredients and food free of additives and thickeners.
“Great produce and quality are definitely a focus,” she said.
“If they’re not made with the same ingredients I’d use at home then they’re not in the shop.”
Like many of the stores in Brighton’s Church Street shopping strip, Indulge Brighton enjoys a close rapport with its customers and has many regulars.
“So many of the customers have become our friends and we genuinely care about them,” Ms Russo said.
“Children love the store, women love the store and so do their husbands.”
Indulge Brighton is open from 9.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday, and from 9am – 5pm Saturday. The store is closed on Sunday.
EDIT, July 2017: Indulge Brighton no longer trades in Church Street, Brighton.
